Upstream announces there will be no festival in 2019

After the passing of the great Paul Allen, many people in the northwest music community wondered whether there would be an Upstream Music Fest in 2019. Regretfully we just learned what we feared would be the case – there will be no Upstream in 2019.

In the few short years that Upstream was a part of the Pioneer Square area, it did a fantastic job in bringing more life to that area and succeeded in turning scores of fans onto bands they’d likely never heard of before.

Here’s to hoping the festival will make a return in 2020.
