Premiering today on Northwest Music Scene is “The Heart Moan” from Asterhouse.
“Written specifically for firefighters of The Northshore Fire Foundation and their charity event at The Skylark on February 22nd. “The Heart Moan” is about the psychological damage that can occur if you keep pain and hardship to yourself. The pain gains power from suppression. It is OK to let your heart break loudly.
On February 22 at the Skylark in West Seattle, The Northshore Fire Foundation will be raising funds to donate to “Mary’s Place” – a non-profit foundation that that offers transitional housing to families in King County as well as “Babies Of Homelessness”.-providing essentials to children living in tent cities, encampments, shelters or in their cars. The evening will be hosted by Q-13’s Adam Gehrke.
