PREMIERE: Watch Darci Carlson’s Bittersweet Music Video for “To the Moon and Back”

Seattle’s premier outlaw country songstress Darci Carlson proudly announces another collaboration with long time friend and video producer Jamie Chamberlin of Black Dahlia Films for her bittersweet love song “To the Moon and Back” off her newest self-titled release that came out in April of this year.

The video was filmed on location at Chamberlin’s home in the town of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico during Darci’s 2017 tour through the Southwest and Mexico promoting her recent Ameripolitan Award win for Outlaw Female of The Year. Chamberlin and Carlson’s work together goes back to the 2012 Gang of Outlaw’s Live Screen Content for ZZ Top, where Darci Carlson was cast for the role of “The Girl”. Carlson was also cast in numerous videos for Black Dahlia Films for local Seattle talent, as well as assisting Chamberlin in video production for friends in Blackberry Smoke.

Today we’re excited to debut the music video for “To the Moon and Back,” a visually stimulating and stylishly-shot music video to accompany Carlson’s wistful and passionate performance. Emotions can be felt pouring through every nook and cranny of this instrumentally stripped-back country number, Carlson’s sultry, affective voice taking center-stage.
