A Big World Breaks Production featuring Camila Recchio & A String of Pearls

Seattle-based Megan Wilde has a powerhouse voice that was trained for classical music before she was seduced by R & B. Playing soulful music for many years, Wilde is now ready to debut her first EP, ‘Wildfire’. Producing, composing and arranging the material on the record(with the exception of “Spoonful”), Wilde also takes the helm on Wurlitzer, piano, and of course, the “soul powerhouse” vocals as described by The Seattle Music Insider. Wildfire is an album that will sonically hook you from the beginning combining elements of indie-rock, funk, soul and R & B.

Camila Recchio
The first thing you’ll notice about Camila Recchio is her voice. A voice that’s pure nurturing and authentic. A voice that sang for eight years with the Total Experience Gospel Choir, and eventually led to her singing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s ‘The Heist’ as well as collaborations with Asher Roth, Ray Dalton and many others.

A String of Pearls
Drawing from influences as diverse as Lauryn Hill and The Misfits to Otis Redding and Sparklehorse, A String of Pearls is unique in its perspective and voice: a young queer woman unapologetically writing love songs to women in a city full of sky vibes.Written, recorded, and produced over the summer of 2014, the record is a byproduct of heartbreak, telling the story of a love affair and longing for someone unobtainable. At times pleading, at times defiant, every song is an open-hearted letter told from the perspective of the other.Sadie Ava is the 22-year-old lead singer and guitarist of Seattle band Sundries and, as the multi-instrumentalist songwriter-producer of the project, wrote and recorded the entire record, with the exception of Rebecca Young on bass.
