Here’s a previously unseen Nirvana soundcheck from December 1993.
After Pearl Jam backed out at the last minute, Nirvana stepped in as the headline act for MTV’s “Live and Loud” New Years’s Eve concert from Seattle’s Pier 48.
Watch This! a local television show on Seattle’s KING-TV, was permitted to shoot their soundcheck, having no idea, of course, that less than four months later Kurt Cobain would be dead.
