Seattle Legend Chris Cornell Has Passed Away at Age 52

A representative of Chris Cornell has confirmed that the accomplished Seattle musician and entertainer passed away in Detroit on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017. The Associated Press was among the first to announce Chris’ passing. His representative, Brian Bumbery, said Cornell died on Wednesday night in Detroit.

Bumbery called the death “sudden and unexpected” and said his wife and family were shocked. The statement said the family would be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause and asked for privacy.
