Ever-changing Origami Ghosts is the project of singer-songwriter/guitarist and Bellevue, WA native and current Seattleite John Paul Scesniak. OG songs resonate with a soulful Alt/Folk-Rock sound, where moods can vary capriciously from track to track. Fruit & Animal—the latest full-length album from the band, is an adventurous effort from a collective pool of talented northwest musicians and aptly captures the spirit of the band. Origami Ghosts are weaving bravely and courageously a new material within the fabric of alternative music. The current band arrangement is as follows: Scesniak: guitar and vocals; Cassandra Wulff: Roland synth/piano/flute & vocalist; Peter Lynch: trumpet/bass: Peter Lynch; and tour drummer Emory Liu. On their latest recording “Fruit & Animal” OG is joined by accordion player + vocalist: Kara Wiggert; drummer/guitarIst: Amir Estakhrian; drummer: Kelly Viergutz; and bassist: Alan Gutierrez.

The project will be playing a show to celebrate the vinyl release of their latest LP Fruit & Animal at the Sunset Tavern in Seattle on September 27th. The event is 21 and over. Tickets are priced at $8.00, and are available at this location.
