Just when you thought the incredible 2014 festival season in the northwest had just about came to a close, here’s another one coming at you soon that you might not know about. This year’s edition of Chinook Fest promises to be bigger and better than ever before and boasts some of the best bands from our area and beyond. With a weather forecast in the 80’s for festival weekend you know it’s going to be fantastic up in the hills.
Chinook Fest is an event featuring art, food vendors, camping, and (most importantly) 28 of the finest Roots-Rock, Blues, Americana, Country, and Folk artists around. This year’s festival will be held September 12th – September 14th at Jim Sprick Community Park; a rustic retreat on the banks of the Naches River, nestled in the scenic Central Washington Cascades.

Partnering with environmentally sensitive companies like Liberty Bottleworks, Chinook Fest strives to be as green as possible in order to maintain the surrounding beauty. In fact, Chinook Fest’s relationship with the Nile Valley/Yakima community and its sponsors is what makes this festival such a uniquely enjoyable experience for both festival goers and performers.
Tickets are still available and plenty of tent camping spaces remain!
