Jonathan Tyler Making Two Northwest Appearances on New Tour

Jonathan Tyler will be performing at Moore Theatre in Seattle on Monday, March 28 and at Aladdin Theater in Portland onTuesday, March 29, with an opening slot by Warren Haynes. Tyler and co. will be touring in support of their latest full-length LP, Holy Smokes, which was released last year.

Rolling Stone raved about Holy Smokes, boasting: “The new album plunges deep into Tyler’s ability to conjure an oozing, brooding take on Americana full of dirty riffs and distortion; spinning pedal steel into atmospheric wisps of smoke on songs like “To Love Is To Fly,” mixing in strokes of Seventies southern rock on others, like “Honey Pie,” that sounds like a Creedence Clearwater lick wrapped in Lou Reed’s leather jacket.”

Tyler and his band The Northern Lights have toured with everyone from Grace Potter, AC/DC and ZZ Top, to Kid Rock, JJ Grey, Butch Walker and Robert Randolph, etc. He just wrapped a tour with Ron Pope and The Nighthawks before his performances at SXSW this week. Following SXSW, he will be on a run of west coast dates with Warren Haynes.
