Great White (not Jack Russell’s Great White) plays Snoqualmie Casino with Slaughter June 5

1980s stalwarts Great White will perform at 7 p.m. June 5 at the Snoqualmie Casino, with special guests Slaughter.

American hard rock band Great White.
Great White (not Jack Russell’s Great White)

Not to be confused with Jack Russell’s Great White – with former lead singer Russell – this edition of the band features 3/5’s of the original band that rocked the 80s with hits such as “Rock Me”, “Lady Red Light”, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” and “House of Broken Love”, with Mark Kendall on guitars, Audie Desbrow on drums and Michael Lardie on guitars. The band also features Terry Ilous on vocals and Scott Snyder on bass.

Tickets for the show are $20 and available at www.snocasino.com or by calling 425-888-1234.

As for Jack Russell’s Great White, well you’ll get a chance to see them when they swim into the region on Aug. 30 at the Deepwater Amphitheater in Manson, Washington as part of the 80s Rock Show, featuring Winger, Warrant and Firehouse. Tickets and more information is available here.

Shawn Skager

Shawn Skager is just an everyday joe like you, who loves music and is lucky enough to be able to write about it. When he's not enjoying long walks on the beach, getting caught in the rain, pina coladas and cheesy 70s music by guys named Rupert, Shawn can usually be found in the Northwest Convergence Zone radio studio doing either the Northwest Music Scene radio show or the Hooligan Honky Tonk Radio Hour. And just for the record, Shawn believes that Rush's exclusion from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Hank Williams Sr.'s exclusion from the Grand Ol' Opry are crimes against humanity.
