Gig Harbor High School Band Makes Strong Showing @ EMP Sound Off
They didn’t win the big prize, but the kids from Gig Harbor put on an impressive show in the 12th annual EMP Sound Off music competition on Feb. 23.
And the fact that I For Eye — the band made up of Gig Harbor High School students Drew Ryan, Cole Rau, Alec Bukata and Tacoma resident Kierah Taylor — made the South Sound finals in the prestigious band contest means that they’re already recognized as one of the best young bands in the Northwest.
