Wild Powwers’ to Celebrate ‘Skin’ Album Release at Neumos on October 25th

Seattle’s grunge babies Wild Powwers show no sign of letting up. Fresh off a major tour of the West, opening for The Fall Of Troy and Kylesa, the dynamic trio, is now releasing their third record, Skin, with a nationwide tour to follow. In the past, they’ve played major festivals such as SXSW and Savannah Stopover Fest.

With this new record, their third release, they delve into a variety of musical genres, spanning from grunge to shoe gaze to psychedelia, while maintaining their glam creep strut that we have come to love them for. According to the band, “‘Buff Stuff’ is about a tsunami (emotionally or literally) – a great natural force that can completely wipe the slate clean, often violently. This song is about watching the chaos and trying to avoid it all and stay above water, but eventually it gets everything.”

Tickets to the band’s forthcoming album release show at Neumos with special guests Sloucher and Great Spiders can be found here.
