Kick off the New Year in the best way possible with the third annual Girl Fest, held at McMenamin’s Historic Crystal Ballroom Property, in Lola’s Room. Portland’s own, all-girl mini-music fest was founded to support and spotlight the many talented ladies making music in and around the Pacific Northwest. For its third consecutive year, this year’s lineup, composed entirely of artists who call Portland home, will feature a wild array of genres. Whether you’re a connoisseur of hip hop (Karma Rivera and Neka & Kahlo), contemporary jazz (Coco Columbia), intimate indie folk (Haley Heynderickx), or soulful pop music (Courtney Noe), this year’s lineup is sure to have something you’ll love. The event will be hosted by Girl Fest veteran, and Portland’s own, Blossom.

For its 2017 outing, Girl Fest is proud to be sponsored by XRAY.fm and Vortex Music Magazine. In only a few years following its inception, Girl Fest has made a name for itself as one of Portland’s freshest and most forward-thinking annual festivals. Last year’s outing garnered plenty of buzz among those local to Portland, featuring the likes of Hart & Hare, Blossom, and Portland-via-LA favorite The Last Artful, Dodgr. With this year featuring a new crop of cutting-edge musicians, and one of their most diverse and carefully-curated lineups yet, it’s fair to say this year’s Girl Fest is a can’t-miss.

Advanced tickets to the festival are priced at $8, and can be purchased via Etix here. You can RSVP to the festival’s Facebook event page here, where you can also find out more information.
