The Black Tones Video Game & Vinyl Release Party set for May 11 at Clock-Out Lounge

Clock-Out Lounge & Sportn’ Life Music Group Present The Black Tones Video Game & Vinyl Release Party

Simply put…The Black Tones are like a mixture of Kurt Cobain and cornbread. Consisting of founders/twin siblings Eva Walker on guitar/vocals, Cedric Walker on drums, and Robbie Little on the bass. The event is on May 11 at the Clock-Out Lounge, starting at 9:00 PM, with Tres Leches and Moon Palace. Tickets available HERE.

Born and raised by first generation Seattleites, the Walker twin’s, honed their sound from their families original New Orleans roots, crediting them for their unique musical style of Rock n Roll. A goody bag of BLUES, PUNK and BLACK POWER!

Their debut album Mr. Mines was featured on the Seattle Public Library Playback series as one of 50 selected albums representative of the Seattle music scene. In 2017 they played the first annual Upstream Music Festival and NW Folklife. They have also appeared on Band In Seattle and The Spud Goodman Show, as well as being featured multiple times on AfroPunk.com

The Black Tones have shared the stage with local headliners Hobosexual, Tacocat, NighTrain and Hot Panda to name a few. In 2016 and 2017 they were featured in the production of “Dear White People” at the Theatre Off Jackson in Seattle, WA, as well as having music licensed to the independent film “The Noise Made by People.”

Currently The Black Tones are in the studio with hall of fame of producer Jack Endino, hard at work on new material.

About the game: “An old school 8-bit Kung Fu game with The Black Tones featured as the characters, fighting off Skinheads, Nazis and the KKK. The song ‘Key of Black (They Want Us Dead)’ is the soundtrack the game.”
