Ted Brown Music wins NAMM’s SupportMusic Advocacy Award

SupportMusicAdvocacy_WhitneyBrownGrisaffi Ted Brown Music has won the NAMM National Award for best Music Advocacy. The 501c non profit has donated over 300 instruments to children who could not afford to play in school band and orchestra! The summer Rock band camp, Live it out Loud has grown every year and helps kids live the dream of being in a real band and creating their own original music! They also teach a variety of instrument exploration camps, Jazz improv camps, Melody Kids, and Teddie Bear Music are low cost classes for kids of all ages to embark on a lifetime of music.

Top 100 retailers were judged using a numeric rating by a panel of impartial expert judges selected by, but not otherwise affiliated with NAMM. In addition to ‘Dealer of the Year,’ honors were given for Best Exterior Presentation, Best Merchandising Display, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Presentation, SupportMusic Advocacy Award, “Music Makes a Difference” Award, Best Special Event and Best Emerging Dealer.
