Seattle singer-songwriter Kristin Chambers has released her Christmas album, Snow Globe, produced by Eric Eagle (Skoor Sound). The album features five new original songs by Chambers, and her distinctive take on five holiday classics.

Snow Globe is a heartwarming collection of songs, in which Kristin’s vocal and songwriter talents are truly showcased. Original song standouts include “Christmas Eve”, a sweet lullaby-esque song, a blues number entitled “It’s Not Christmas (Without You Here)”, and the fun pop-country tune “A Magical Guy” featuring Seattle swing crooner Casey MacGill.

The reinterpreted holiday classics include a beautifully-intimate flip of “Silent Night”, an infectious uptempo take on “Auld Lang Syne”, a version of “Little Drummer Boy”, deemed by one reviewer as “the best new modern version of this song,” and, as a special treat, a beautiful rendition of Wham’s “Last Christmas.”

Snow Globe includes several of Seattle’s top musicianss, including Antoine Martel on guitar, Alex Dyring on bass, Eric Eagle on percussion/drums, Johnny Sangster on guitar, Seattle Symphony’s Wes Dyring on viola, and a singing cameo by the aforementioned Casey MacGill.

Kristin is celebrating the release of Snow Globe with a special show at The Royal Room in Seattle on December 11, where you can expect to hear songs from Snow Globe, as well as other holiday favorites. The show will feature Kristin’s live band The Steady Waters Band, and others from the album making cameo appearances as well.

“Snow Globe” is available in physical and digital form via Kristin Chambers website www.kristinchambers.com.

See Kristin’s website for special CD offers along with a collectors songbook and concert tickets. MP3 downloads of Snow Globe are already available on iTunes and Amazon Music.
