Thousand Foot Krutch, 3 Pill Morning, More to Play Sixth Annual Rock & Rally for the Troops

For the sixth consecutive year, on Saturday August, 6th, the general public, Veterans and local military are invited to Cheney Stadium (near Joint Base Lewis-McChord) at 2502 S Tyler St, Tacoma, WA 98405, phone (253) 752-7707, to participate in Rock & Rally For The Troops. The event features a motorcycle poker run and outdoor music festival to support the programs of Operation Ward 57.

As America enters its 15th year of conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and surrounding areas, showing support for our wounded, ill and injured service members is more important than ever. Attendees of the event can show their support by participating in the motorcycle run sponsored by Brothers in Arms Motorcycle Club or attend the Outdoor Music Festival featuring 4 local and national bands. There will also be a silent auction at the event from 5-7pm as well as multiple vendors and activities. This is an all ages event.

The music lineup includes national performers Thousand Foot Krutch, 3 Pill Morning and local acts Rain Light Fade and Clear the Chaos.

Also, U.S. Army Veteran and triple amputee SGT (Ret) Adam Keys and his mother Julie Keys will be speaking to share their experiences from injury to recovery and to help raise awareness for veteran related issues.

All funds raised from the motorcycle run, silent auctions and individual donations will go directly to Operation Ward 57 to support the wounded, ill and injured service members & Veterans recovering around the country. Operation Ward 57 T-shirts that are given to patients and families will also be available for sale at the Rock & Rally event.

The event sponsors Brothers In Arms MC, Agility Audio Visual, Rock Paper Rock, Swarner Communications and  the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Tribe were all inspired by Operation Ward 57, and were motivated to find a way to make an impact on and improve the overall quality of life of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines that have sacrificed so much in support of OIF/OEF/OND.

Tickets are available for purchase at for just $25 per person.
