PREMIERE: Watch The Mothership’s Video for “Easy Way Out”

Although Seattle band The Mothership changed its name to Ten Miles Wide a few years ago, the incredible music they made under that moniker lives on. Today we are premiering a brand new video for “Easy Way Out” from The Mothership’s critically acclaimed 2014 album titled Bright Side of Dim. The offering is the latest video from Seattle based production company Black Dahlia Films run by Jamie Burton Chamberlin.

The inspiration for the project came from the flickering of candle light as it passed through a box fan and cast it’s shadow on the ceiling one night. The song matched the aesthetic video layering perfectly and a collaboration began. Chamberlin and Beckman (Mothership/TMW-Vox) spent an evening several weeks later shooting the performance element for “Easy Way Out” and the video was born.
