PREMIERE: Watch “Divisions” by Vaudeville Etiquette

Premiering today on Northwest Music Scene is a brand new video for “Divisions” by one of Seattle’s most talented acts, Vaudeville Etiquette.

“Divisions”, the first single from the forthcoming EP of the same title by Seattle-based alt-country rockers Vaudeville Etiquette, marks a clear departure from their existing catalogue of blues driven folk melodies. The song’s expansive production, driving hypnotic rhythm, and the addition of subtle synth textures, give this track the feel of an epic inner journey; a view into a world wrought with conflict and in search of some meaning or catharsis. The music video uses these ideas to great effect; juxtaposing cultures, ideologies, and imagery of separations in rhythm with the pulsing track and droning melodies; encouraging the viewer to meditate on their own interpretations of life, conflict, and resolution. “Divisions” EP is slated for a June 2018 release date.

You can catch Vaudeville Etiquette live at The Seasons Performance Hall in Yakima on April 14 and at The Tractor on April 20.
