PREMIERE: Listen to “Now Is The Time” by Strangely Alright

Things happen in peoples lives that can create urgency and resolve. And so it is with Strangely Alright. Frontman /songwriter Regan Lane explains:

“Last year I found out that the Hep C that I contracted in a life long, long ago had chewed up my liver pretty good. I was accepted for a Harvoni treatment, completed it and I have been HEP C free for the first time in a long time. After facing what felt like the inevitable early finish line, that seemed a bit to close for comfort, I decided to never wait on things again and only put out positive forward thinking stuff as long as I could. And that’s where our new single “Now Is The Time” comes from.”

“Now Is The Time” is a hypnotic, hooky piece of Space Hog-y dream pop and is available at iTunes and Amazon along with SA’s previous music.

As Lane urgently sings, Every little thing can change the world”, the message is clear. “I truly believe that the WE of this thing is so much stronger than just me. And we are connected, whether we all want to admit it or not. The ripple effect is real and we plan to continue to share the hope that love is the answer, and in today’s climate of uncertainty and fear, it feels more important than ever.”

After the release of “Now Is The Time,” the band will be releasing an EP called Stuff in the fall, on a special limited edition cassette, with the help of Ombrello Records. In the meantime, they’ll also be playing a few outdoor shows with some new staging. Regan explains:

“We asked graphic designer Jaci Sawtelle to create some art for stage backgrounds that would help people see and feel where we’re coming from and she did an amazing job. They have a Peter Max peace and love vibe to them. Also, my niece Tobe designed drummer Jason Bair’s drum head…same deal…teach peace… Whether folks love it or hate it, they won’t be able to ignore it…LOL!”
