PREMIERE: Listen to “Make Up My Mind” by Glass Frames

Premiering today on Northwest Music Scene is a energetic new song called “Make Up My Mind” from Seattle’s Glass Frames.

Glass Frames is an alternative rock band in Seattle with nods to punk and progressive rock. “Make Up My Mind” is the single from their upcoming debut album, Madrugada. Glass Frames first crystallized on a misty autumn evening in 2014, unpacking guitars and drums while visions of Muse and Dredg songs danced in their pensive heads. Madrugada is a cathartic and spiritually transcendent collection of songs that deal with personal tragedy, Socio-political themes, and plot lines form the X Files.

“Make Up My Mind” succeeds in combining elements of prog and post-punk, as well as other influences but doesn’t lean to heavily on any one genre, resulting in a unique and accessible sound that should go over well with fans of multiple genres.  Glass Frames currently has a Kickstarter campaign going on to help make the new album. Check that out HERE.

“The songs we’ve written for this album are inspired by everything from Middle-East tensions to personal tragedy to X files episodes.” From the Kickstarter campaign page.
