Mirah to play Olympia’s Capitol Theatre on September 9th in support of sixth studio album

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Mirah will play Olympia’s Capitol Theatre on September 9th, 2018 in support of her sixth solo studio album, ‘Understanding’. ‘Understanding’ drops on September 7th, after which she will be hitting the road on a full National Tour.

Featuring Greg Saunier (Deerhoof) on drums with long time engineer/producer Eli Crews (tUne-yArDs, WHY?, Son Lux), ‘Understanding’ embodies Mirah’s classic vocals and emotional capacity by way of analog synths, sparse drum programming and soulful melodies while touching upon subjects: politics, loss, love and everyday life.
