Members of two of metal’s biggest bands are bringing their solo acts to Tacoma’s Backstage Bar & Grill, promoters announced via Facebook.

First up is Korn bassist and founding member Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, who will headline the club – located at 6409 Sixth Ave., in Tacoma – on March 8. He dropped out of Korn’s European tour last year to be with his wife, Dena, for the first of their second child.

Over the years, he’s been involved with various side projects including Fieldy’s Dreams, a rap group that released the album “Rock n’ Roll Gangster” in 2002, and Stillwell, his band with rapper Q-Unique, which delivered “Dirtbag” in 2011.

He’s also known for being the second member of Korn – after Brian “Head” Welch – to get clean and sober and publicly embrace Christianity.

The backstage also announced that former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno will headline on June 2. Di’Anno was the voice of Maiden from 1978 to 1981, before Bruce Dickinson cemented the influential metal band’s classic lineup. He’s also been a member of Praying Mantis and Killers, among other projects.

Cleopatra Records released his last album, “Wraithchild – The Anthology,” last year.
