KEXP & Seattle Center Announce Concerts at the Mural Lineups

KEXP & Seattle Center Present Concerts at the Mural brings live music to the Mural Amphitheatre stage for four evenings of highly entertaining, end-of-the-week respite featuring some of the region’s best indie music, along with some noted national artists, free-of-charge, starting at 5:30 p.m., Fridays, Aug. 7 – 28, in Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center.

Now in its 8th year, the Friday evening concert series continues the KEXP and Seattle Center tradition of starting the summer weekends off with a blast of engaging, all-ages culture.

KEXP and Seattle Center share a commitment to innovative and culturally diverse programming. The outdoors concert series offers a blend of musical styles for Seattle Center neighbors, downtown workers, music lovers and families. Seattle Center contributes the concert space, sound, lighting, and technical and event expertise. KEXP provides the “music that matters.”

Seating for Concerts at the Mural is on a first-come basis. Folding chairs and blankets are allowed. Large coolers/ice chest, umbrellas, pets, video, and audio recorders are not allowed. There will be a beer garden on site serving beer and wine from Redhook Brewery and Columbia Winery for people 21 years of age and older with a valid ID, and fresh foods will also by on-site. In addition, Seattle Center Armory food merchants will be open for food and drink.

Support for KEXP & Seattle Center Concerts at the Mural is provided by Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, Alaska Airlines, Vulcan, Inc., a Paul G. Allen Company, Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream Shop, The Seattle Public Library, Clif and the City of Seattle.
