Tacoma-based hard rock outfit Halcion Halo will be performing live Friday February 12th at the Valley in their native Tacoma. Accompanying this show is the first online published release of the song “Joke Parade,” recorded and mixed in producer-engineer veteran Jack Endino’s legendary Soundhouse Studios in Seattle in 2014. A release date for the entire Joke Parade project is being scheduled, and should be projected for release sometime in 2016.

Halcion Halo is a hard rock band with ties to the Pacific Northwest music scene dating back to the early nineties. Halcion Halo has been a trio act since 2013, and released their debut self-produced album Wild Heart in the latter half of the year. Shortly after Wild Heart’s release, the band decided to begin writing new material focusing on the creative styling of each member’s talent, developing a complimentary diverse full-bodied EP to follow up their first album. The band took to Soundhouse to record the album in as few takes as possible on 2” reel-to-reel tape for the authentic feel that a rock album deserves.

The band’s show also features opening support from fellow locals The Heyfields and Punish the Scribes. The event is 21+. You can find out more information about the show here. Stream the “Joke Parade” single below via Bandcamp.
