Hurry, hurry, hurry! Step right up to the 10th annual Georgetown Carnival, a festive celebration of the creativity of Seattle’s oldest neighborhood onSaturday, June 13 from noon to 10:00 PM. The event opens with a performance by Georgetown’s Eagles Aerie #1 band, the region’s oldest music group and a Duwamish Longhouse storyteller , followed at 1:00 PM by the dedication of the Festival Street project and public artwork by Georgetown artist, Chris McMullen.
SANCA acrobats and Seattle Drum School students are joined by dozens of visual and performing artists throughout the historic business district, including Hazardfactory’s world famous Power Tool Races. Four stages of music and performance, three beer gardens, interactive arts, carnival games, confections, crafts, music, sideshows, burlesque, stilt walkers, and spontaneous spectacles all day long. Free fun for all ages.
The Georgetown Carnival, held annually on the second Saturday of June, serves as an expansive installment of the monthly Georgetown Art Attack. Many studios and galleries are open for the occasion, while others will participate with booth space on Carnival grounds. For more information visit www.georgetowncarnival.com.

Equinox Studios brings you their collaborative artistic efforts for an interactive art experience on Airport Way during Georgetown Carnival. Equinox encompasses over 50 Artists working in blacksmithing and metal sculpture, glass and possible mediums.
Georgetown Trailer Park Mall vintage and artisan market is hosting Georgetown Art Attack galleries, studios and artists. Directly across from the Trailer Park is the The Georgetown Brewing live music stage A must for all Carnival goers!!!
Miller School of Art Art Carnival Show and Mural Student art show and mural at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall. The public is invited join in the fun and paint on the mural! Paintings for sale to fund kid art camp scholarships for low income youth.
Mainframe will be showing fine art prints, original works of art, fine picture frames at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall.
Georgetown Atelier will have a tent booth at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall with catalogs of the school and display of student artwork.

Krab Jab Studios presents Stephanie Pui-Mun Law: Immortal Ephemera Illustrator Stephanie Pui-Mun Law returns to Krab Jab Studio with her new series, “Immortal Ephemera” featuring stunning, dreamy watercolors of flora and fauna. Stephanie will be in attendance and speaking about her work in our 7:30 pm Artist Talk. Musical accompaniment by Vox Vespertinus.
Georgetown Liquor Company is featuring “The Art of Jacob Wayne“ – Social Pop Surrealism in acrylic.
The Mix will feature an anonymous artist for the “Scenes in Dreams” series, a collection of beautifully haunting images, combining separate elements to provide a harmonious, interrelated whole, through mixed mediums.
Mary Tudor and Ferrell Mary Tudor, art with timeless, iconic, images verging on being meditative objects and Ferrell, art with spacial and abstract imaging. Music by Luscious Leopard Lips, the Georgetown atmospheric music DJ with a Theremin synthesize.
studio e presents Molly Magai: Port City. Magai’s paintings showcase her fascination with what she describes as “the unearthly beauty of freeways, industrial areas, and the Port of Seattle” that she photographs from her moving car. The resulting oils feature dynamic brushstrokes and colors that contrast the attributes of heavy industry and speedy highways with the glowing light of the skies above.
Wittman Estes is excited to show the work of Kate McLean: Industrial Landscapes of Seattle : black and white 120 and 35mm photographs.
Machine House Brewery Seattle artist Ingrid Lahti will present a collection of work she has titled “Lichens: the epiphytes among us.”Beautiful art, fantastic beer in a unique atmosphere.
Spectrum House Salon & Photography hosts a photographic journey byWillow of Creatrix Headdresses & McCade Dolan of Cadeography. This collaboration is a showcase of hers & McCade’s combined, inspired ideas coming together to create a visual celebration of powerful self expression and radiant beauty.
Interstitial presents The Blue Room Exploring color design in response to gendered roles in Victorian domestic spaces, Seattle based artist Jessica Dolence develops a surreal domestic environment within the gallery. Interested in exploring the narrative of design Dolence investigates the wonder, classification, science and religion found in Celeste Olalquiaga’s The Artificial Kingdom. The Blue Room, consists of full wall projections of animated wall paper, isolated video works, and individual print and embroidered objects, all in effort to further explore the artist attraction of melding a contemporary Internet aesthetic with traditional Victorian design.
The Alice Gallery hosts KOAN COMPOSITES: An exhibit by Ari Fish.The line between blame and confession, projection and acceptance, choice and mandate, and life and death feels, at times, palpable. KOAN COMPOSITES is the fourth installment of the SPEAK AND SPELL SERIES of temporary temples by Ari Fish and is an obliterated riddle of the probability of these palpabilities. Fish has orchestrated the fourth installation in the series to allow the congregants of the temporary temple to engage in disengaging. Fish’s work integrates elements of sacred ritual, religious study, multisensory saturation and deprivation, and stresses an emphasis on survival and necessity. The Alice has been transformed into an ethereal and challenging experience for the viewer to process the acceptance of death, rebirth, and nothing. All are welcome to come as they are and leave as they will be. Opening reception June 13th
