75 Bands in 75 Days – Day 34: Cyanwave

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we bring you the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, one day and one band at a time. Our artist for today comes to us from the beautiful Emerald City to deliver to us their equally beautiful techno music, Cyanwave.

Hailing from Seattle, Cyanwave is an electronic music duo that has been releasing music for about five years now. The project consists of producers Keith Kelley and Justin Byrnes, whom together make very lush, pleasant, yet sometimes heavy ambient beat music. The duo’s overall sound channels artists like Squarepusher and The Orb as much as they do artists like Blue Hawaii and SBTRKT (specifically his tracks with vocal guests). While Cyanwave is yet to release a full-length LP, they’ve kept themselves busy with new individual tracks, collaborations, and various hour-long mixes. We look forward to seeing this promising project put forward an official full-length debut in the future.
