75 Bands in 75 Days – Day 28: The Kamikazies

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we’re showcasing some of the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, at least one band per day, leading up to December 31st, to ring in a new year. This list is in no particular order and it is not a chart or a countdown. It’s merely a list of bands or musicians that you might not have heard of that we feel are worthy of checking out. The 28th band is a Seattle band called The Kamikazies.

Seattle’s The Kamakazies, coming  off their win at the  Kickstarter Games are set to release “The Lonely Dark and they are looking to bring back great rock music to the masses. (We stole that line from them).  Take that Gene “Fucking” Simmons. Nothing fancy about the music of these guys, they plug in and thrown down some pretty serious riff based grooves and let the rockin’ do the talkin’.

From the bio of the band: From the ashes of one dream, comes another. The Kamikazies, Formed By Tre in late 2009, as a desire to either continue to play music or die trying.
