voy

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome, to 75 Bands in 75 Days, where we’re showcasing some of the best talent that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, at least one band per day, leading up to December 31st, to ring in a new year. This list is in no particular order and it is not a chart or a countdown. It’s merely a list of bands or musicians that you might not have heard of that we feel are worthy of checking out. The 19th band up is a band that has been rocking faces off in the local music trenches for half a decade now, they are Villians of Yesterday.

Formed in November ’09 on the streets of Seattle’s “Industrial District”, these five die-hard musicians and longtime friends of Villains Of Yesterday hit the ground running delivering edgy and infectious rock ‘n roll for hard rocking, fun loving music fans everywhere.  Seattle has made the Villains of Yesterday feel right at home, and the songs “Bear & Shoulder” & “Under The Gun” received airplay on “Seattle’s Best Rock” station, KISW 99.9 FM, with many thanks to DJ personality Jolene.  Heavy guitar riffery, killer vocals and catchy tunes with more hooks than a Cabela’s, these guys are a badass band worthy of you checking out.

The band is currently writing material for their third album, to be recorded at Robert Lang Studios beginning in December.
There is a benefit at Slim’s for band member Carl Klein supporting his fight against cancer scheduled for November 15….get details for that HERE   FUCK CANCER!
