22 Northwest Bands – 22 days

By now, you may have heard that the Northwest Music Scene has launched a new feature called the Northwest Top 5. If you haven’t, you will, so just play along.

For the next 20-something days, we are going to feature one of the bands that are ranked on our NWT5 chart, and give them more visibility. We’ve asked the bands to write about themselves, and that’s what we’ll be publishing. Our staff would write the stuff ourselves, but the Northwest Music Scene puppet master Shawn Skager has immersed himself into the underground power polka punk movement, (otherwise known as UPPPM), and doesn’t have the time. Glen’s too busy flipping the light switches that brighten up this little virtual music scene, and Matt is hanging out in the sinister netherworld of applications and developers.

Now, if you are reading this and you’re thinking, “why the hell is my band not getting any love from the guys?! Our band kicks ass on all them,” you’ll probably want to go back and find the NWT5 submission requirements and deliver the goods. We can’t do it for you!

One thing is certain. Readers are going to be exposed to some absolutely amazing bands and, if all goes right, the bands will pick up one or two new fans.
