House Of Cannabis Presents the 2019 Northwest Music Scene Reader’s Poll Call For Submissions
Live voting for the 2019 Top Ten albums will begin December 5th, 2019 at 9 a.m. (PST)and end on December 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. (PST).
Three votes per person are allowed. Band members MAY vote for their own band or solo project.
Anyone (band or otherwise) found to be using fraudulent or questionable methods (including sites that hide the IP of the user) to increase votes will be removed from the competition. That decision will be made solely at our discretion. We don’t want to sound like jerks about this rule and harp on it for too long but every year we have a few bands that try to cheat and every year they’ve been caught. And since every time it’s happened the band blames it on an overzealous fan or fans, it would behoove all bands to warn their fans about voting more than once. We can’t stress enough that we monitor this VERY closely and take it seriously.
The album or EP must have a 2019 release date and be available for sale or public consumption.
The geographical boundary of the Northwest Music Scene is loosely based on what is commonly known as the “Pacific Northwest” region of the United States. Basically from Southern Oregon to British Columbia and over to Idaho. See the boundary HERE.
Live voting will start on December 5th, 2019 at 9 a.m (PST)and ends on December 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. (PST).
In the event of a tie, we will have a 24 hour head to head showdown on Facebook.
