Music fans of the Pacific Northwest, get ready for our fifth annual year-end daily local music showcase, 100 Bands in 100 Days, where every day until December 31st, we’re showcasing a new band or artist you have to know about, once again presented by Verity Credit Union.

Make sure you are checking the #100Bands100Days hashtag on Twitter on a daily basis to stay on top of all the bands featured and be sure to follow Verity and NW_Music_Scene there. Some days the featured act could be an established and locally-adored northwest-based musician and other times they could be a band with a small following that just hasn’t had their deserved time in the spotlight yet. Either way, we’re fairly confident you can come away from this daily segment with plenty of new favorites. Today’s featured artist is Wynne C Blue.

About the artist:

Wynne C Blue has been performing rock/powerpop with her Troublefakers since 2005. In 2018, Wynne ventured across the country solo for her Visiting You Tour, connecting with internet friends and fans from SXSW to New Haven to Oklahoma City. All this in support of Return to the World, her fourth album as Wynne C Blue and her Troublefakers. A storyteller at heart, Return to the World borrows from pop culture and her own experiences to document a very personal journey with a touch of blues, humor, and indie pop.

If this is the first time you are hearing today’s featured artist, you are in for a treat. Wynne C Blue has a unique sound that’s a bit hard to pin down – seamlessly blending several genres, crafting sonic gems, while showing off her powerful voice. Seattle is bursting at the seams right now with extremely talented female singers and Wynne C Blue deserves to mentioned on any list  that highlights them.

Check out her latest release HERE and we’re fairly convinced you’ll come away a fan of her music.
