Upstream Music Fest and Summit announces full lineup for 2018

UPDATE: Check out the full daily schedule HERE.

Most people that attended last year’s inaugural outing of Upstream Music Fest & Summit came away from the event pleased and were already looking forward to year number two. If you were near the Pioneer Square area for those three days in May of 2017 then you likely felt the energy that the first year festival brought to the neighborhood. The 2017 lineup had something for just about every kind of music fan in the northwest and with today’s revealing of the 2018 lineup, the Upstream team has once again covered most, if not all the bases.

Upstream’s lineup has it all this year. From Miguel to The Flaming Lips, Little Dragon to Jawbreaker, and Tacocat to Smino, the eclecticism and versatility we’ve assembled this year is untouched. It’s the perfect marriage of Pacific Northwest sounds, national and international artists, offering guests the chance to explore new and familiar musical territories all in one place.” – Meli Darby, Lead Programmer, Upstream Music Fest + Summit

In partnership with Darby, Upstream’s lead curator, the lineup has been curated this year by 30+ of the most influential names in today’s music scene, all with an unrivaled ability to keep their fingers on its pulse and have used that expertise to deliver what looks to be another stellar event.

Today’s reveal adds newly-reunited punks Jawbreaker, Tacocat and post-hardcore pioneers Hot Snakes to the already stacked main stage that includes Miguel, The Flaming Lips, Cut Copy, Little Dragon, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, SUPERDUPERKYLE, Little Dragon, Zola Jesus and Valerie June. The main stage artists will join 200+ local, regional and international artists who will turn Pioneer Square into a live music fanatic’s dream for three days on June 1 – 3. Feast your eyes on the full lineup via the flyers below and then head to www.upstreamusicfest.com for more info!

Launched by Seattle’s own Paul Allen in 2017, Upstream Music Fest and Summit is the nation’s premiere celebration of PNW arts and culture, bringing hundreds of local performers together with larger national acts to transform Pioneer Square into the city’s biggest party from June 1-3.

“Paul Allen dreamed up Upstream as a vehicle to showcase the best of what today’s PNW music scene has to offer, while also providing fest-goers enough national powerhouses to keep their eyes and ears busy all weekend. Pioneer Square is Seattle’s original neighborhood, with rich history, culture and energy – making it the perfect home for Upstream.”  – Rebecca Camarda, Director, Vulcan Arts + Entertainment
