Thunderpussy to Bring Their Signature Wild Intensity to Doug Fir Lounge on March 5th

Modern Seattle rock ‘n’ roll legends Thunderpussy will be performing a landmark headlining show at the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland on March 5th, 2018.

Formed in late 2013 with bassist Leah Julius (Cumulus, Sundries), guitarist Whitney Petty (The Grizzled Mighty), vocalist Molly Sides (This Bitch Don’t Fall Off), and drummer Lena Simon (La Luz, Kairos) who was later replaced with Ruby Dunphy in 2016, Thunderpussy has received critical acclaim across the board for their sheer fire and intensity.

In our review of their Treefort 2017 performance on the main stage, writer Jess Casebeer said that “despite unpredictable rainfall, Friday’s main stage was home to some of the most enthused, feel-good performances of the festival, with Seattle ass-kickers Thunderpussy starting the main stage off the right way. They would later go onto say that, “Not just any band would be able to draw a sizable crowd, much less one as into it as theirs was, with the amount of wind and sideways rain that permeated the majority of their set, but once you caught even one song by them and saw the amount of vigor they brought to that main stage, it was hard not to be mesmerized, and even harder to look away from the spectacle.”

And if you haven’t heard it yet, the band released a brand new song called “Torpedo Love” today, check it out HERE.
