Thundering Asteroids! to Say Farewell to Earth With Final Show at Twilight Cafe and Bar

Portland’s premier nerd-punk band, Thundering Asteroids!, is playing their final show on Earth ever, parting ways with our unworthy planet after 7 relentless years of rocking our faces off. TA! is going out with a bang, throwing a big party where everyone is invited.

The show is set to happen at the trusty Twilight Cafe and Bar next month, on April 2nd. Their good friends The Anxieties and The Tanked will also be performing. There will be special guests, a new limited-edition Thundering Asteroids! cassingle, and epic amounts of awesome.

Over their 7 years of rocking on this planet, Thundering Asteroids! has played the Hard Rock Cafe, been a featured act at GeekGirlCon, has been featured on KBOO for a live in-studio set, has been touted as one of “10 Super Cool Pacific Northwest Nerd Bands,” and put on an annual holiday fundraiser for Doernbecher (Punk Drunk Christmas). Their rocking tunes and charming fun-loving personality has made them a force to be reckoned with, earning a spot on our 2015 50 Bands in 50 Days showcase, and developing a passionate following from nerd music fans, regional and national.
