Seattle’s Radio Raheem have established themselves as one of the great live bands in the Northwest. Raheem shows are fun, raucous and impossible to sit through without jumping up and dancing. A cross between Sharon Jones and the Daptones and the Talking Heads, with lead vocals from the powerful Josie Howell and daughter Chyree, Radio Raheem will take the stage at Capp’s Club in Bothell on Friday, November 18th at 8:30. Sharing the bill with Radio Raheem will be Powerhouse Rocker Kim Virant, one of Seattle’s treasured iconic voices. Prepare for a great evening of rock, soul, funk and dance. Tickets available HERE.

Radio Raheem’s first single from their latest release, Time Code Exile, 2 Live for the City, premiered to great fanfare in City Arts Magazine, http://cityartsonline.com/articles/song-premiere-2-live-city-radio-raheem and they have been featured in articles in Seattle Weekly, The Seattle Times and other online and print publications. One of the other tracks from the release, Heartbreak in Space, is currently playing in over 10,000 Starbucks stores around the world.

Kim Virant is best known as the lead singer of popular 90s rock band, Lazy Susan. Since that time, she’s stayed busy with solo projects and performances. In 2014, she was part of London Tone Music’s unique label launch, 52×52, which released one new song a week by a different artist. Virant was artist number one and her song, Pilot, a pop/folk ballad in the tradition of great 70s singer-songwriters, co-written with Radio Raheem band leader, Bryan Cohen. Virant was also one of the performers at the historic Mad Season Tribute at Benaroya Hall in 2014.

Tickets available for Radio Raheem and Kim Virant HERE. More info is available at the Facebook event page HERE.
