PREMIERE: Watch Mississippi Jones’ New Video for “You Say You Want a Revolution”

The eighth studio release from Mississippi Jones will be available worldwide on March 6, 2017 and today we are premiering the first video for the song “You Say You Want a Revolution” in advance of the release.

The set is the third in the duo’s second 4 part EP series of releases. Continuum III is a collection of four new songs which expand the boundaries of ElectroPop. Visually stunning and provocative videos will follow the album’s release.

“I live and breathe music,” says Mississippi about her decision to create this album. “It’s more than just what I hear. When I’m connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feelings, emotions, thoughts about life, dreams, fantasies. All connected to music.”

Releasing the EP as part of a series of four installments is the continuation of a uniquely strategic move by the duo to deliver music and content directly when they want to and how they want to, with no filter. This unique approach allows music fans to listen and engage on a modern timeline without delays.

“I want to cultivate new developments in music,” she states. “I am excited about evolving formats and interaction. There is a tremendous connection with the community. We’re taking advantage of this new capacity to engage the music, the artist and the listener. When the music is ready and it’s the best that it can be, we release.”

Stripped of gimmicks, teasers and marketing campaigns, this project is truly about art before hype.

The EP release party for Continuum III is Saturday March 25 at the Rendezvous with L80 and Creature Hole.
