Northwest Folklife Festival releases full 2019 schedule

For nearly five decades Northwest Folklife Festival has been bringing joy to the people that attend the sprawling event on Memorial Day Weekend in Seattle. This year’s event will start on Friday May 24th and run through Monday May 27th. Held at Seattle Center every year, Northwest Folklife Festival is one of the largest community-powered festivals in the nation, bringing together over 5,000 performers, 800 volunteers, 40 food vendors, 150 local craft/import vendors, and upwards of 250,000 attendees.

KEXP PROGRAMMING: Co-curated in partnership with KEXP DJs Eva Walker and Troy Nelson, the KEXP Gathering Space programming highlights Youth Rising with up-and-coming young artists from Sound Off!.

There is a suggested donation of $10 per person or 20 bucks for a family. At those prices, Folklife gives you more bang for your buck than most other northwest festivals.
