KONGOS, Awolnation, More to Headline Summer Camp 2016

Every year, alternative radio kingpin 107.7 The End unveils their lineup for the Summer Camp, their annual one-day music festival which brings together legions of dedicated indie music fans into the Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington to see some of the hottest names in indie and alternative music (usually artists currently in heavy rotation on The End). After last year’s lineup boasted Matt & Kim and Robert DeLong, and Phantogram and Bleachers the year before that, this year’s lineup has some big shoes to fill.

The first half of the lineup was revealed on air earlier today, and so far the response to the lineup has been unanimously glowing. Of this first wave, Awolnation is the big-text headliner, with the likes of Big Data and The Wombats rounding out the bigger names on the lineup. Meanwhile, there is local presence in the form of acclaimed Seattleite Kris Orlowski. The event is set to happen over two days, August 13th and 14th, 2016. UPDATE: The second wave of the lineup has been revealed, with Young the Giant, KONGOS, The Dandy Warhols, and more joining Awolnation and more. During their announcement, they also revealed that more names are to come. Until then, check out the full list below.
