KISW is proud to announce another year of its seminal rock concert: Pain in the Grass. This year’s single-day, star-studded rock festival will be at White River Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 21, 2016. Tickets for the show will go on sale through Live Nation on Thursday (March 31st) at 10am.

After heavyweights like Lamb of God and Slipknot stood atop last year’s bill, this year’s lineup is headed by Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin, with support from Alter Bridge, Saint Asonia, Anthrax, Pop Evil, Stitched Up Heart, and Windowpane. In addition, this year will feature an entire second stage – the Another Century Stage – which will showcase breaking and rising artists in the genre. The lineup for the Another Century stage will be announced closer to the date of the show.

Although tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday at 10am, there will be an exclusive presale for KISW Rockaholic Club members on Wednesday from10am-10pm. In order to get the password for this presale, interested parties must sign up for the Rockaholic Club before midnight on Wednesday. The presale will then land in their inbox in the Rockaholic Transmission, the station’s weekly e-newsletter.

In addition to the tickets sold through LiveNation.com (pit, seated, and lawn seats will all be available), KISW is offering special experiential packages, which will be sold exclusively through GetMyPerks.com. These packages are the Pain in the Grass Backstage BBQ, the Mens Room Happy Hour and a Half, and the new BJ & Migs Pain in the Grass Party. These packages are limited in number, and include tickets to the show.

Tickets (excluding experiential packages) are $86.95 for pit tickets, $76.95, $56.95, $46.95, and $36.95 for reserved seating, and lawn tickets are $29.95 each. In addition, four-packs of lawn tickets will be available for $79.65, but only before August 21st, and while supplies last (four packs are not for sale at the box office).

KISW is also continuing to give back with their large concerts, and $2 from every ticket purchased will go to the Vitalogy Foundation. For a full breakdown of what each package includes, and to get more information about this summer’s biggest rock show, please visit kiswpaininthegrass.com.
