Houndmouth have announced the long-awaited release of their new album, Golden Age, their first for Reprise Records, set for release on August 3. The New Albany, Indiana-based rock band — Matt Myers (guitar/vocals), Zak Appleby (bass/vocals) and Shane Cody (drums/vocals) – mark their return with a new sound introduced by current single, “This Party” which is quickly gaining traction at alternative radio. Pre-order Golden Age today and receive instant downloads of “This Party” and “Modern Love”, another brand new song from the upcoming album. Spotify users can also “pre-save” the album directly to their Spotify account, which delivers the two previously released tracks directly into your Spotify library.

Earlier this week, Houndmouth confirmed additional tour dates in support of Golden Age. Tickets for the tour go on sale today at 10:00 A.M. local time. Included with every online ticket purchased for select dates (see # below) on Houndmouth’s upcoming tour, fans will receive a choice of either a standard physical or standard digital copy of Golden Age upon release on August 3.

To makes things even more exciting, Houndmouth’s label mates Family Of The Year, will join as very special guests on the fall dates. Their acclaimed Reprise Records album debut, Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Nighttime is available now. Produced by Greg Wells, Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Nighttime captures their knack for heartfelt, introspective storytelling and rich instrumentality, re-emerging with their most hypnotic and intimate collection of songs to date. Their breakout hit, “Hero,” has accumulated over 200 million streams since earning a prominent sync in the Academy® Award-nominated and Golden Globe® Award-winning drama, Boyhood. Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Nighttime features the standout tracks, “Let Her Go,” “Latchkey Kids,” and radio single, “Hold Me Down.” Houndmouth, along with Family Of The Year, will be one of the most exciting live parings of the year.
