Good Riddance Coming to El Corazon on Friday, March 16th with Success, More

Good Riddance is a classic politically-charged punk rock group from Santa Cruz, California. Originally formed in 1986 the band went into hiatus in 1991 until 1993 due to lack of drummer and bassist. The bands style can be described as edgy melodic punk rock. The band has released nearly all of their releases through Fat Wreck Chords. On May 27th of 2007 they played their last show ever to a sold out crowd in their hometown. Good Riddance has decided to perform as a band again in 2012.

Success have honed their sound into a progressive form of driving, motivating, and catchy punk rock and roll. Their lyrics are sincere and honest. Their songs are powerful and unique. The only thing more impressive than their live show, is their humble personalities, and positively motivated attitudes.

This December, Orange County’s The Last Gang will make their Fat Wreck Chords debut with the two-song 7-inch Sing for your Supper. And while The Last Gang may seem like a new band, their history is rife with chance encounters that led to big breaks. The band originally formed in 2007, with vocalist-guitarist Brenna Red leading the band and playing the king of ‘77 punk that allowed them to tour with the Anti-Nowhere League and Dwayne Peters Gunfight. But in 2012, shortly after drummer Robby Wantland joined, The Last Gang put their guns down and called it a day. Thankfully, that didn’t last long.

Tickets to this performance at El Corazon can be found here.
