The purpose of Girls Can Do event series is to host events around the country and the world, at low to no cost for young women and girls. The events are special days where girls come to engage, connect, and share experiences with amazing women speakers who are pursuing their dreams. Girls Can Do  also partners with local organizations focused on girls programing to provide “next steps” for newly inspired Possibility Thinkers. Click HERE for complete list of speakers. The incredibly talented Seattle singer/songwriter Lana McMullen will also be playing her special brand of  Americana/Alt-country with maybe just a dash of folk music sprinkled over the top. 

12:00pm – 1:00pmWelcome: Meet in the beautiful Benaroya lobby to meet other girls attending and local organizations supporting girls through a variety of programs.

1:00pm – 3:30pm – Presentation: Eight 10-minute inspirational presentations with videos, photographs, and stories. Between each talk there will be a three-minute activity based presentation hosted by a local girls organization and a 20-minute intermission.

3:30pm – 4:30pm – Speakers Q & A: Get your questions answered with all the speakers on stage in a panel setting. Girls may line up at a microphone to ask questions to any of the speakers.

4:30pm – 5:00pm – Individual Q & A: Back in the Lobby each speaker will be available for girls to come and meet them individually and ask more questions.
