THURSDAY FEBRUARY 7th

RANE STONE
– Rane Stone is a west-coast based singer & songwriter. He’s currently the front man for the local Seattle rock band Klover Jane and mastermind behind Seattle metal band Years of War. Rane has also been highly sought out and hired for his musical services and expertise. He’s worked with Kevin Wood on the revival of the 1980’s band Malfunkshun, as well as with Goldy McJohn of Steppenwolf, and Rane was also commissioned to write music for Michael Wilton of Queensryche, for a side-project called Wratchethead. Many local bands have also hired Rane to help them develop their sound and identity, such as Double Tongue, Killing Faith and Dog Bone Sanctuary. Rane brings an uncanny flexibility to whatever project he is involved with. Rane was even hired to be the voice of Layne Staley for Seattle’s only tribute to Alice in Chains, Jar of Flies.

As a musician, Rane Stone has broken the boundaries of every musical genre from Metal to Blues. His singing and songwriting have made him quite a force within the Seattle music scene and a much-loved figure among his fans.

THE BOMB SQUAD
– Throwing caution to the wind, The Bomb Squad isn’t afraid to cover songs that could blow up in their faces. FRIDAY FEBRUARY 8th

FOX AND THE LAW
– 2012 was a huge year for ‘Fox and The Law’, and what a better way to end it then with the new video for “Treat Me Right” off of their debut record, Scarlet Fever. This bare bones video showcases the no-BS philosophy that the band applies toward their unique brand of rock and roll. No bells and whistles, just a few dudes playing loud music.

‘Scarlet Fever’ was recorded over the course of 9 days at Jupiter Studio, helmed by local producer Martin Feveyear, notable for his work with Mark Lanegan, Mudhoney, Kings of Leon and The Blakes. Many of these songs were recorded in only one take. While recording the album, two members of the band contracted scarlet fever, resulting in some tense visits to the ER and a raw sounding set of recordings.

The band is currently looking forward to a busy 2013, with a spring tour that includes numerous appearances at SXSW, as well as a follow-up to Scarlet Fever due in the first half of the year. The band is currently recording an EP with Ryan Granger of The Grizzled Mighty, due in stores this spring. As City Arts Magazine states: “There was a time when every band in Seattle was as brash and ragged as Fox and the Law…They explode on stage.”

THE FABULOUS JOHNSONS
– Led by former ‘BAD COMPANY’ bassist Lynn Sorenson, ‘The Fabulous Johnsons’ will unleash their own brand of classic rock from Zeppelin to Nirvana! This band features an all-star lineup including Jeff Kathan (Paul Rodgers) and one of the NW best guitarists Michael Johnson.

The ‘Johnsons’ will be plugged in and ready to ROCK!

RANDY HANSEN
– The music of Jimi Hendrix lives on in Randy Hansen’s tribute. Forty years after his death, Jimi Hendrix is still leaving an impact on the music world. The recent release of Valleys of Neptune — a collection of previously unreleased studio recordings — rocketed Jimi to #4 on the Billboard 200 Chart, making it the highest-charting album of his career. While the legend of this true “guitar hero” lives on, no one celebrates it more than the remarkable Randy Hansen.

For over thirty years, Hansen has been building a reputation as the foremost Hendrix tribute on Earth. As one of the few players officially recognized by the Hendrix family, he has been successfully doing his act since the ’70s, stunning audiences worldwide as he channels the spirit of Jimi and perfectly recreates the stage presence and skill of the legendary axeman. Aside from his loyal fanbase, Hansen’s guitar work is respected throughout the music business. He’s played alongside some of the greats, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, Paul Rodgers, Herbie Hancock, and original Jimi Hendrix Experience members Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell… Also original Band Of Gypsies members, Buddy Miles and Billy Cox.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 9th

KEITH SCOTT
– Veteran Chicago-based bluesman returns to kick off our Saturday show with his own brand of energetic original and classic blues music! Keith travels straight from Chicago just for this event!

THE VOODOOS
– Get ready for a new musical spirit simply called THE VOODOOS. Hailing from Ireland, The Voodoos are a four-piece band consisting of Mark Daly (vocals), Nick Greatrex (guitars, vocals), Mick Bogan (bass), and Fionn Hennessy (drums, vocals).
Performing their unique brand of rock wherever and whenever they could (and conquering several Battle of the Bands competitions along the way), it wouldn’t be long before The Voodoos garnered a mass following from all over Ireland.

Influenced by a wide range of rock royalty such as Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Counting Crows and Kings of Leon, The Voodoos found the creative streak that was needed to take their musical ambitions to another level. The band began writing more of their own songs and slipping them into their performance. Local television and radio quickly took notice of their original compositions and the band would find themselves performing for both networks and stations along with fairs and festivals.

As luck of the Irish would have it, Susan Tate, manager of the multi-platinum rock band, Queensryche, recognized their unique, raw and energetic brand of music, and was quick to bring the boys over to America to do a full tour of the States as an opener for Queensryche.
That tour ended in November with the band earning a spot playing on ‘Shiprocked’ alongside bands such as Buckcherry, Hellyeah, Sevendust, Candlebox and Filter where the Voodoos energetic style captured the hearts of rock fans on board.

Following this first ever very successful tour of America the band was back in Belfast to perform their song, “Yesterday’s Future” at the MTV EMA awards in front of 20,000 very happy rock fans.
Since the beginning of the year, The Voodoos have been going non-stop, focusing on both touring and writing their first album, which already includes original songs such as “Yesterdays Future,” “Restless,” and “Laugh Without Smiling”.

In the midst of all the musical things that are necessary to keep the band alive and thriving, the lads are not only able to get along as band mates but as great friends as well.
Part ritual, part charm, part magic. The Voodoos will definitely put a spell on you.

BEN UNION
– A jam-session at Seattle’s Union Station EXPLODED overnight to become more than a name and more than simply music. The Union sparked what has gone from a grassroots campaign to a creative movement, with the Union gospel spreading like the fire of political revolution. With a live show that rivals IMAX and a militant following, this is a group to be reckoned with. JOIN THE UNION.

Birthed in 2009, ‘Ben Union’ quickly became a power out of Seattle and the word is spreading as the band continues to turn heads and capture ears. The band’s unmatchable energy in live shows has earned them a reputation that keeps people talking and keeps venues calling, and the shows just keep getting bigger. After the success of their first album, The Light, and the explosive follow up, This Blessed Union VOL I, they are currently finishing the 2nd part of their 2-volume album being released in 2012.

TO THE GLORIOUS LONELY – Formed by ‘LOADED’ bassist Jeff Rouse in 2008, ‘To The Glorious Lonely’ started out as way for Jeff to write music that wasn’t really going to work for the bands he was in at the time. It gave him the opportunity to sing, play guitar, bass, drums and whatever inspired him musically. According to Jeff: “It has turned into something that really is a fun and rewarding thing for me to do when not out playing with LOADED.”

TTGL is an ‘all-star’ band packed with amazing and familiar talent. They just finished their long overdue first record featuring Shawn Zellar on Drums, Davey French (Everclear) on guitar and Gary Westlake ‘The Dark God of Bass’. Jeff touts: “I have finally assembled exactly the right people that share in the musical vision that has been floating around in my head for many years. ‘To The Glorious Lonely’ is ready to bring this vision to the stage and finally show what we are really about.”

THE HIPSTERS
– One of the NW favorite cover bands, ‘The Hipsters’ will leave you begging for more! Nothing but solid ground pounding, hip grinding, ass shaking rock and roll provide the base for this band. Years of history between the foursome has given them perspective on all types of music….but a fresh attack on music, as well as a true enjoyment of working the crowd keeps the atmosphere alive and electric.

Featuring Jess Hamilton (lead vocals), Jason Starkey (bass, vocals), Tod Hobart (drums, vocals) and Craig Cessna (guitar, vocals) they perform solid dance rock that you know and love…High energy atmosphere that you want to be a part of…it’s hot rock for cool people, and you need to get some.
