Electro Shock Pop duo Drama Club Rocks Portland’s Roseland

Do you like a little Electronic Dance Music with your Heavy Metal? If you do the band Drama Club is just your thing! The masked electro house/shock pop twins are a DJ force to be reckoned with! Zero and Andromeda, with their flowing locks of black hair and theater masks rocked the stage at The Roseland Theater in Portland, OR on November 5th. They were the openers for “The Black Mass Tour” which included the acts Set it Off, Falling in Reverse, and the Black Veil Brides.

Full of energy and with an incredible light board that displayed written messages, and a cameo of Andy Biersack of the Black Veil Brides, who joined the duo for a song during their short set. The show began with a few skeptics in the crowd who were standing and watching as the duo danced and bounced through their first song. By the end of the set the entire floor was bouncing to the music.

Drama Club seemed to be the perfect storm of EDM meets Metal. They certainly gained plenty of new fans. Charla Stephenson

Charla is a new addition to the Northwest Music Scene family, she has had a passion for music since she was just a small girl. At the age of five, she was rocking out to Kiss at the local pizza restaurant with her older brother. It didn't take long until she was hooked on rock music. Growing up in Southern Oregon there was not a lot to do except listen to music and hang out with friends. Now, at the age of forty-two, she is the married mother of four children. She is still rocking out and in the pit at several metal shows a year. Charla is also an Emergency Nurse with fifteen years of adrenaline filled experience in the field. Charla and her husband Geoff would like to become more involved in the music scene and possibly retire in an RV chasing festivals all over the country. Currently, she is content writing music reviews, taking pictures, and interviewing bands every chance she can get.
