Concert Review: FKA twigs at Moore Theatre

Twigs went into a chilling version of “Cellophane” and stands alone onstage for her last piece, the last chance we get to see her naked in all her pain. Every molecule in our bodies is awake and in awe of her presence. Every single person left that show feeling inspired by her and this is something that can easily happen. She is an incredible performer and hopefully she’ll be back soon.

Concert Review: Foy Vance at Neptune Theatre

He slowly got up from his piano as he left and continued to sing a cappella as we all listened attentively without question. His voice fluctuated in volume as it slowly faded the further back he stepped. Everyone cheered in amazement and he came back to sing a couple more closing out with “The Strong Hand.” This was a wonderful performance and I now understand why so many people think highly of Vance. This man is not to be missed when he’s in town.

Concert Review: Lukas Graham at Moore Theatre

After the mid-point of the show the three members sat in the front on stools and played a more intimate set for a few songs before being joined by the rest of the touring members. During “Love Someone,” fans were singing along turning their attention to their significant others and holding them closer. Their main set ended with “Funeral” and they returned to close the night with their most successful track, “7 Years.”
