Capitol Hill Block Party Announces First Wave of Artists

After what seems like several months of shitty weather, one tends to start looking out the window and daydream about nice sunny days. At NorthWest Music Scene, when we daydream about nice sunny days, it almost always leads us directly to salivating about festival season, and easily one of our summertime favorites is Capitol Hill Block Party.

CHBP revealed some pretty big names today with more to come, but the announcement of Run The Jewels and Diplo was enough to make the CHBP faithful scream out a collective “Fuck Yes!” Anyone that was at RTJ’s set in Memorial Stadium at Bumbershoot last year knows they will likely blow the awning off the top of the mainstage and that you’ll need to be staking out your ground early for that one, or you’ll else be watching from a few blocks away.
