Boris, La Dispute, Circa Survive, More to Appear on Song-for-Song Tribute of Nirvana’s Nevermind

After rock and metal record label Robotic Empire released a song-for-song tribute album of Nirvana‘s legendary 1993 LP In Utero last year near Record Store Day, In Utero, In Tribute, In Entirety, which featured the likes of Thou, These Arms Are Snakes, Circa Survive, and the late  Jay Reatard, it’s only fitting that they would follow this LP up with another later this year, this time a song-for-song tribute to Nevermind, again being released in tandem with Record Store Day.

This new compilation is to be titled Whatever Nevermind, and will feature some returning names like Circa Survive and Thou, as well as some new faces, including experimental metal figurehead Boris, Torche, La Dispute, Kylesa, and more. The release is available to pre-order via Robotic Empire‘s Bandcamp page, and you can hear an advanced single, Circa Survive‘s cover of “Drain You”, below.
