We Banjo 3 Announce ‘Earth & Sky Tour’ Dates For February and March, Making Four Northwest Appearances
Irish bluegrass heavyweights We Banjo 3 will kick off their “Earth & Sky” tour in the U.S. on February 9th in Kent, Washington, culminating with a two night stint at The Ark in Ann Arbor in late March. Beginning March 8th, We Banjo 3 will be joined by Scottish band TALISK, who were recently named “Folk Band Of The Year 2017” at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
We Banjo 3 is one of most innovative and highly respected bands in Ireland today and includes two sets of brothers, Enda & Fergal Scahill and Martin & David Howley. Featuring banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, percussion and vocals, their sound is an infectious blend of traditional Irish Music with Americana, bluegrass, and a hint of pop, affectionately described as “Celtgrass.”
The crossover appeal of We Banjo 3 to fans of many genres of music and the intensity of the their live show have made them a staple headlining act at some of the biggest Irish and music festivals around the world.
