Aberdeen set to Host 1st Annual Kurt Cobain Days July 17 & 18

1st annual Kurt Cobain Days street fair and Celebration Concert July 17th and 18th Downtown Aberdeen

As part of Aberdeen’s “Kurt Cobain Days” a Kurt Cobain Celebration Concert “LIVE & LOUD 2015” Featuring Seattle’s The Snakebites, Aberdeen’s own Gebular, Olympia’s Black Top Demon and headlining the show former Aberdeen musician and front man of the iconic Aberdeen Band Soilent Green, Reno, Nevada’s Leon Virgil Bowers and Hellbound Glory. Leon promises a legendary performance and show for his hometown in honor of Kurt and Nirvana. Don’t miss this great all ages show at the beautiful D&R Theatre! Tickets available HERE

The concert portion of the event starts at 7 p.m. in the historic D&R Theatre on July 18th following the street fair in front of theatre from 11am to 6pm. July 17th will kick off the event with a live acoustic set from 6 to 7pm featuring “Dogger” of Gebular followed by local favorite Vaughn Johanness. Saturday’s street fair will include FREE live music with tickets for “Live & Loud” concert available at  brownpapertickets.com and at Boomtown Records in Aberdeen directly across the street from The D&R Theatre for $20.
